Most Isopods are small marine animals living under stones or amongst seaweed, away from the sea coast. The most common species are the Sow Bugs - Blackish, gray or brownish in color they are usually found under stumps, boards, or bark. Some of the Sow Bugs (often called Pill Bug) are capable of rolling up into a ball.
